Guest Stamper Jaimie!

I'm back with some great cards to share! I received some beautiful handmade cards from some very special people so I thought I would share them with all of you! (Kudos to those of you who still check in regularly. I know I've been MIA for a bit. I still don't have a new laptop which has made blogging a challenge.)

Today I'll be featuring a card by one of my best friends, Jaimie! She's part of my downline and sent me this sweet card for my big day! *(Addition -Jaimie has a blog! Visit it here to see what she's up to!)

Everything about this card reminds me of Jaimie! She's a stay at home mom to a wonderful little guy name Parker. Jaimie keeps busy with knitting, sewing, DIY stuff, gardening, and baking. She's basically a super woman who can do lots of different things! I guess it's really the canning jar that makes me think of her most. She's always finding fun things to do with Mason jars!

Loving the subtle touch of delicate lace tape here!
She snipped out the cute blossoms from Oh Hello and put them in the mason jar! How cute is that?!?!?

Hope you've enjoyed Jaimie's card today!

A week of Birthday's!

March is a busy month for birthday's in my family/friend circles.  Makes me wonder what was happening in June...oh wait, FATHER'S DAY! That's why there are so many March babies ;)

I've been holding Birthday Stamp-a-stacks lately so I'll be sharing some of those cards the next few days.

This was inspired by a card I saw on Google....no. Pinterest. It was Pinterest. I might need a Pintervention! I did however, completley change it! The card I originally pinned was a Christmas card! Basically I copied the layout and the rounder of 2/4 corners on each square of DSP. It's amazing how that tiny little change makes such a difference! Your thoughts?

I'm crying. As of today, I'm not able to order any more Sycamore Street DSP. I've fallen for these designs and colours. Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Crumb Cake. They're like close friends now. It's going to be a tough day. I'll get over it. Eventually. Like TOMORROW! Tomorrow I'm going to my first ever DIVA DAY!! Sooooo excited for this event! Our queen bee (aka Desiree Spenst - my upline) set out some incentives for us to reach specific goals and if we reach them, we get a morning of spoiling and crafting! So excited to be going!!

Enjoy your Friday!

Happy Birthday!

It was my 30th birthday yesterday! Kind of a bittersweet day. Sad to see my 20's go, but excited for what this new decade will bring. I saw this ecard on Pinterest and it's so true for me!
To celebrate, I'm having a Big Shot SALE! Anyone who purchases a Big Shot from me will receive their choice of two FREE Textured Impressions embossing folders AND two Sale-a-bration items! Contact me to place your order by 8pm March 21st, 2013.

Here's a card that I saw on Pinterest (but changed the colours and things to use SAB products!) Sorry it's so dark.

Oh, Hello revisited

I'm still lap-topless laptop-less and haven't had a chance to take and upload photos yet so I hope you don't mind if I share some more faves from the sample boards at Leadership Conference back in January.

When I first saw the Spring Mini Catalogue, I wasn't really in love with Oh, Hello. I thought it was cute, but didn't buy it. Then I started seeing samples on other blogs.  Inner war wages. "I've already bought so much from this mini, I should hold off." I did hold off and my patience was rewarded! Everyone was given a FREE Oh, Hello stamp set at Leadership! (Sometimes a little will power is rewarded!) Once I had the stamp set though, I caved and bought the coordinating Framelits!

Anyways, here are a few lovely samples featuring Oh, Hello.

Isn't this fun? I cannot WAIT until Stampin' Up! gives us a hexagon punch! That Honeycomb folder is sweetness!
Have you tried this lace tape? NO?!? You NEED to! It's wonderful!

This one's my fave of the bunch! Loving Island Indigo (do you have to go Mr. Indigo? I love you!) with those sweet "paint" splatters. There are just so many little parts to this card that make the whole thing awesome! Paint splatters, stitching, hint of doily, fun colours...so much!

I hope you've enjoyed the photo montage of Oh, Hello!

Thanks for checking in!

Kaput!

You might have noticed I'm a few days late on my post! I've been having issues with my laptop for quite some time. It has no battery life which means I have to be attached to the wall all the time and if the power cord jiggles even wee bit, the whole thing shuts off. Just in the last few days I've had the "mouse wander of death". Basically, the sensor for the mouse (built in) is shot. I tried using an actual mouse with USB port but it does the same thing. The mouse pointer slides off the screen until it's gone completely.

So.

I'm in the market for a new laptop. Only problem is, that takes money and I just spent most of mine during Sale-a-bration! It was worth it mind you, but now I have no laptop and I'll be sharing our "main" computer with my Star Wars Online addicted husband. What's he doing right now you ask? Why, he's reading a Star Wars novel of course! (Star Wars is a cult for men, I'm telling you!).

So, all of my photos are on my laptop which means I don't have a new project to share, but I can share some of my favorite Leadership cards. Hopefully I haven't shared these before.

Hopefully this will tide you over for a while! If you'd like to help me acquire a new laptop, feel free to head over to my online store or join My Paper Pumpkin!

Be inspired!
