Rainbows

Happy Monday! It's another busy week around here with swimming lessons, a family trip to the dentist, my husband's birthday (today - Happy Birthday, JP!), and probably some things I am forgetting!

Today's project was super fun! It's a rainbow layout and I used photos from Mason's 2nd birthday party last summer. I pulled the colours out of the pinata.

This was such a fun day! We had a pinata for him at his 1st birthday but he didn't really get it. This year, he definitely understood what to do! Watch out! Pretty good at hitting a moving target. Maybe he's the next Sammy Sosa...

Hope you've had a great start to your week!

Fun with Decor Blocks

GASP! Two posts in one day!

The main reason for this post is that I wanted to upload some photos onto my Facebook site but the uploader is taking forever so I thought I'd just put them up here instead!

I made these for a friend's baby shower. She didn't know what the baby's gender was beforehand so they're kind of gender neutral colours.

Sorry they aren't the best photos. Yes, I took them on my kitchen chair. I had just wrapped them up and then remember I didn't take a pic. I unwrapped them, snapped these photos, and wrapped them back up while trying to make it to the shower on time!

The idea is that you can put some photos on the blocks as well to be a nice keepsake of your baby/family/dog whatever. (In this case it would be baby hence the "BABY" letters)

Enjoy!

Blue Eyed Boy

I'm certainly making a lot of progress in my digital scrapbooking. I've created 9 pages so far! That's 9 more pages than I created the first 14 months of owning MDS! (Did you catch that? I hadn't made a single scrapbook page!)

I CASE'd this layout from Heather Summers today. She's part of the MDS blog hop that takes place every Friday. Since the layout was already complete, it was mostly just adding photos and my own text and that didn't take too long at all.

If you don't already own My Digital Studio, head over to my online store to get a FREE 30 day trial!! The trial includes a TON of stamp brush sets, patterned papers, embellishments, punches and more.  All you need are photos and you can easily create a scrapbook, card, flyer, whatever you want to suit your needs!  You can even do "hybrid scrapbooking" where you do the majority of your page digitally and then embellish it with physical embellishments once it's printed. What fun!

Happy Friday and have a fantastic weekend!
